If you're keen to get planning then we have some great new tours now live on our website for 2016, all of which exploit the winter weather in the UK and guarantee some dramatic and unspoilt landscapes.
Exmoor in Somerset from the 28th October-1st November. Few places in England (some would say the world!) have such a variety of beautiful, unspoilt scenery packed into such a relatively small space. The second smallest of England’s National Parks, barely 267 square miles, it nevertheless possesses some of the most diverse and spectacular landscapes to be found anywhere in the country.
Cornwall from 28th November - 1st December. Often thought of has having one of the most beautiful coastlines in the British Isles, Cornwall is home to many areas of outstanding natural beauty, has a historical importance from the Tin Mining industry to the Fishing industry, and more recently became the storm central of England. Our base will be in the renowned Cornish village of Marazion, with miles of sandy beaches, sand dunes, rock pools and of course the stunning backdrop of St Michaels Mount. This location is often one of the most requested places to visit.
The Highlands of Scotland - 2nd - 11th December is always a favourite with our Light and Landers and this is a Leading Lights Tour meaning that participants are limited to 8, thus maximising each person’s time with our two tutors. Starting in the Southern Highlands, visiting the Isle of Skye and finishing near Pitlochry, the tour promises a magical blend of mountains, moors and sea and unlike the summer months, not a midge in sight (we hope)!
