We are always very aware that you have chosen to spend your valuable time with us. We want you to go home from one of our tours or workshops feeling not only that you've been to some fantastic places, met some great people and had a fabulous time but also, and most importantly, that you've learnt something new and exciting about photography.

Key advantages...

• You will be given the tuition you require when you need it most
  - on location! We won't just take you somewhere, we'll also help you make the best of the location photographically and ensure that you return with great images.
• On tours in the UK, and some European destinations, you will be encouraged to bring your own work with you (either as print, digital file or transparency) for informal and friendly assessment by the tutor.

• On both tours and workshops our leaders will give informal talks and demonstrations on issues such as successful filtration, accurate metering, composition and much more. On some tours they will also give slide shows in the evenings, discussing how they approach their own work.
• You will be in a small group of like minded enthusiasts, small groups mean that you will get the best out of the location and the most help from the tutor. Group sizes vary between 5 on a Leading Light workshop and a maximum of 12 participants on a UK course or workshop. Foreign tours generally have between 8 and 12 participants. Groups over eight usually have two leaders.

We offer two distinctly different opportunities for you to grow photographically; tours and workshops.

Our workshops are all about directed learning; they're about helping you to understand more about your photography and helping you to grow technically or creatively! You will be given a clear understanding of the aim of the tuition and the expected outcomes.

The aim of our tours is to support you in the field; they're primarily about making photographs but also about improving those images through on the spot tuition.
