Duration 3 Night Tours
On the east coast of the Jutland peninsula, you will find Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city. Recently famed for being crowned the European capital of culture in 2017 and the European region of gastronomy in 2016
Your three nights at the hotel start on Thursday 12th April, the group will meet in the evening for dinner before spending the next few days exploring the city. It’s a case of old meets new in Aarhus, a walk around the city will take you through time, from the 12th century Cathedral, to the striking Isbjerget apartment complex. Friday morning will start with a group breakfast before going off to explore the city. The Latin Quarter is easily the most picturesque part of town with its cobbled backstreets and 14th century architecture and this is where we will head just after dinner as dusk approaches, we will take an easy walk around town for some low light photography, this will help us get warmed up for the following day’s full schedule which will include a sunrise shoot at the Isbjerget, and then visits to Aros with its panoramic walkway and then Dem Gamle By the living history museum with its half timbered dwellings and cobblestone streets. The workshop will conclude late Sunday morning after breakfast and a stroll around a deserted Latin quarter before catching the bus back to the airport for our flights.
