This location offers a wide variety of photographic experiences from dramatic seascapes to quiet macro and ethereal long exposures.
Your County Antrim coast tour guide will be Paul Sanders. Paul is an animated and passionate speaker about all forms of photography and his talks to camera clubs and societies having been described as inspiring. The weekend will begin on Friday evening where the group will gather at the hotel to discuss what you want to get out of the weekend.
Saturday will see a full day of shooting from dawn to dusk and possibly into the night - if it’s clear there may be the opportunity to do a little astrophotography too.
The group will see dawn come up on the Sunday morning before wrapping the workshop up around lunchtime.
If there’s time we will also be holding an image critique session over the weekend too, so come prepared with a few images to show.
Light and Land will organise transfers to and from Belfast City Airport, pick up will be 3pm on the 8th November, and drop off will be 3pm on the 10th November, we will contact you with recommended flights nearer the time of the tour.
Accomodation at the Bushmills Inn on the 8th and 9th November 2019.
Set against the backdrop of the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, The Bushmills Inn is the perfect retreat for those who crave the unconventional, yet still expect exceptional service. The welcome is warm and the fire always lit.
Originally a Coaching Inn in the 1600s, this 4 star boutique Hotel and Restaurant is steeped in Irish history with a myriad of places to hide from the world. Step back to a time steeped in charm. From inglenook turf fires to hayloft snugs, there’s something to find behind every door.
In the village that is home to the world’s oldest Whiskey Distillery, between the famous Giant’s Causeway and Royal Portrush Golf Club, we offer the perfect base to explore a host of visitor attractions such as Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle and many of the Game of Thrones filming locations.
The 4 star Bushmills Inn blends stunning architecture, beautiful grounds, unique rooms and modern facilities and has been lovingly restored to pay homage to its rich Irish history.
"Paul and Nathan were superb. They did a very professional job as regards the teaching. As well as that they were very supportive to the group as individuals and as a group. Nothing was too much trouble. They were great fun. I felt that I could ask anything and they would help me. This was my first experience of L&L and it was great! Thank you very much” Ann Henry - October, 2017
