This Dorset Coast photography workshop will take place in December with Antony Spencer. The coastline of Dorset is amongst the most spectacular to be found anywhere on earth. The Jurassic Coastline is England's only natural world heritage site and this will be the base for our day of exploring the endless possibilities.

We will begin meeting before sunrise in a prearranged location and will make our way down to the shoreline for a sunrise session before heading to breakfast. In mid winter the sun stays relatively low in the sky and rises and sets further south than at other times of the year providing the best light photographing conditions.

We will explore the coastline throughout the day, exploring compositions and use of filters to control contrast and also using filters to slow exposures and experiment with ND filters. We will photograph through the day and into sunset before we finish was darkness approaches.

Locations will depend on the weather but possible locations will mostly be in Purbeck Dorset and will include, Durdle Door, Swanage, Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge, Mupe Bay plus many more.

Due to COVID-19 all participants will need to drive themselves and we will travel in convoy around the coast but never travelling too far from our meeting location. There will be space for one or two participants to travel with Antony if arriving with no form of transport. Please contact the office to pre arrange this. Social distancing to the applicable rules will be followed at all times.

This workshop is limited to 4 participants.
