Yellowstone National Park is truly a magical place covering 3,472 square miles mainly in Wyoming but also spanning two other states of Idaho and Montana. It’s known as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of North America.

Our Yellowstone in Winter photography tour will be split between four nights in West Yellowstone and three nights in Gardiner.

In winter it can only be experienced by snow coach. We will have access to our very own historic snow coach to travel throughout the Park. This will be driven by an expert guide who will educate us on the landscape, wildlife and history of this beautiful National Park. In addition, Antony will guide the coach and help select the best places to visit to photograph. The tour will be limited to 5 clients.

Yellowstone National Park Photography Tour

Yellowstone National Park is truly a magical place covering 3,472 square miles mainly in Wyoming but also spanning two other states of Idaho and Montana. It’s known as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of North America.

The trip will be split between four nights in West Yellowstone and three nights in Gardiner.

This will be driven by an expert guide who will educate us on the landscape, wildlife and history of this beautiful National Park. Yellowstone Park is home to more wildlife than anywhere else in the U.S. giving us the opportunity to photograph an incredible array of wildlife, including grizzlies and black bears, bobcats, elk, bison, bald eagles, otters, coyotes, foxes and, if we get lucky, wolves and possibly gray wolves, which were once almost extinct in this area. Last year, our group were lucky enough to have several encounters with wolves and produced some stunning images as a result!

The landscapes are vast and hugely varied in Yellowstone, and is home to about half of the world’s geysers—the largest concentration on earth- around 10,000 in all. The park includes 300 geysers including geothermal pools and hot springs. The Yellowstone River features three of the largest waterfalls in the park, Upper Falls, Crystal Falls, and Lower Falls, including the longest undamned river in America and the Yellowstone Lake is the largest North American mountain lake.

In addition there are frozen trees, steam covered forests, lone trees, and wildlife environmental scenes.

This tour is designed to appeal to all levels, so join Antony to photograph this beautiful National Park during winter!
