This one day workshop will be based in the heart of London and take in the bustling and iconic streets and architecture of the city.  London is the capital and most densely populated city of England. Situated on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia, it was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium.  London is now regarded by many as a world cultural capital and this will certainly be reflected during your day in the city.

This is a workshop that will aim to discover finding new ways of interpretating the city and is designed to maximise shooting opportunities.  The weather will largely dictate the mood of the day, however the magic of the city will guide us to our photographic opportunities.  During the day the group can explore various mediums during this workshop including Abstract, Street, Architectural or Black and White photography. Your guide for this tour tour will be Light and Land tour leader Paul Sanders who is also a Fujifilm X series UK ambassador. With Paul as your guide you can be sure the day will be filled with wonderful photographic locations.

The South Bank will be a perfect starting point - from the view across the river to St Pauls to the endlessly fascinating facade of Tate Modern with its beautiful clusters of silver birch - there is much to be inspired by here before heading off to explore more of the city.

The workshop is in association with Fujifilm and all members of the group will have the opportunity to use either the GFX or X series of cameras if they wish.  Nathan Wake will be on hand to help you with any specific technical difficulties or let you get your hands on the full range of lenses and accessories available and advise those who are thinking of switching or adding to their camera collections.

The workshop will begin at 9.30am and will end at 4.30pm.
