"I was slowly seduced by this seemingly banal street scene in the Wynwood area of Miami. While it doesn't have any obvious 'epic' traits, the arrangement of lines, wires and poles make sense to me in cohesive and harmonious way. I like to embrace and play with the notion that it is possible to make engaging images even in the most mundane locations, such as this relatively bland street corner. The intensity of the light can be amazing in Miami and a joy to work with, I've tried to reflect this in the high-key treatment of the print".
