Mark Seymour

Mark Seymour is an accomplished travel and street photographer whose work has taken him around the world and earned recognition at the highest level. He has completed assignments for National Geographic, and holds a Fellowship for both his acclaimed documentary wedding photography and his powerful project on dementia. His work is part of the permanent collection at the National Portrait Gallery in London, and he was among the first photographers to be appointed as an ambassador for Nikon UK.

Mark has exhibited his documentary work in both London and Milan, including a solo exhibition at The Andipa Gallery in Knightsbridge, where his images filled the entire gallery space for a month-long show.

He has travelled widely, leading workshops independently and in partnership with Nikon UK across Asia — including Kolkata, Varanasi, Assam, Nagaland, and Vietnam — and makes an annual trip to Sicily to photograph the Misteri di Trapani Easter celebrations.

With a deep passion for street and travel photography, Mark is known for his ability to connect with local people and communities. His extensive experience and on-the-ground knowledge of these locations not only enrich his own work but also ensure that those who travel with him are guided to the right places, at the right times, to create compelling and authentic images — all while learning from a photographer with a truly international reputation.
