Peter Hendrie
Peter has lived and worked all his life in-and-around North Devon and Exmoor. Born in Barnstaple, Peter served an apprenticeship at Appledore Shipyard as a shipwright. A change of career bought him to the heart of Exmoor in 1988, from where he is ideally placed to pursue his passion for photography. He has attended around seven Light & Land trips as a client, the first with Charlie Waite to Andulacia back in 1998, so he knows exactly what people need. Peter’s enthusiasm and love of Exmoor has culminated in the publication of two photographic books. He has also been published in Country Life, Practical Photography and numerous County magazines and numerous calendars and greeting cards. Currently he is working on his latest book, of panoramic images from around the world, a medium that inspires the creative mind.
