Our Uzbekistan photography tours combine the heritage of the Great Silk Road with desert landscapes and culture-packed cities like Tashkent, its capital, where we will visit colourful markets filled with exotic spices and silks and great domed and elaborately tiled Madrasahs. The Kyzylkum Desert with its oasis towns and foreboding fortresses, and the magnificent mosques, ornate palaces and mausoleums of Samarkand, Khiva and Bukhara will all be a cultural and photographic feast.
