Brighton Beach Photography Workshop - Brighton Coastal Photography

Join coastal photographer Margaret Soraya on this one day photography workshop at the iconic Brighton Beach on the South Coast. Brighton is one of Britain’s most famous and popular seaside resorts and provides a whole host of photographic possibilities. A long pebbled beach with beach huts, funfairs and arcades which have a cool, upbeat British seaside feel to them. Brighton offers opportunities to photograph seascapes as well as structures such as the bandstand, British Airways i360, beach huts and the famous West Pier. The Pier is the centre of our day at Brighton Beach, perfect for learning to develop your long exposure techniques.

Margaret will meet you at a designated cafe close to the pier at 9.30am for introductions and some thoughts and ideas for you to try during the day. Margaret has been photographing seascapes for 15 years and her love of the coast has resulted in an enthusiasm for sharing and teaching by the sea.

Margaret will be on hand throughout the day to gently guide and assist you. Whether you are looking to develop your long exposure photography, come along as a beginner looking to develop, or just wanting some inspiration for your work, this workshop is suited to all.

We will be visiting out of season which adds to the quirky character of Brighton and lends itself to photographic opportunity. Included is lunch at the Palm Court restaurant on the pier.  The workshop will end at 4.30pm
