Sign up for our course and move your photography to the next level! The sessions will cover the technical and creative basics you need to understand in order to take control of your image-making process.
Learn about the three pillars of photography – shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Understand depth of field and the exposure triangle. Explore the characteristics of light and how it affects your photographs.
Study the rules of composition and discover how filters work. Develop your own project and, finally, let us produce a print of one photograph you have made that you are happy to have on your wall!
Short assignments can be done between sessions, and course material will be provided.
Your tutor is Astrid McGechan, who will also be at hand in between sessions for advice. The six sessions will be approx. 1 hour 15 mins long, begin at 7.30pm and are delivered via zoom. There will be a maximum of 10 people.
