Our photography printing and processing workshop with Antony Spencer will take place in March. The final step of the image making process is arguably the most important and yet the least understood. The aim of these one day workshops is to ensure each participant will leave feeling confident to either print their own images at home, or have 100% confidence in the final files to be printed in a lab.
From a dedicated print studio in Somerset we will go over every element of printing and the processing involved to get the most out of the final print. Each participant will be able to make multiple prints and even some as large as A1 (24x36 inch) prints. We will go over in detail colour calibration, soft proofing, print sharpening, hard proofing and printing from Adobe Photoshop.

Photography Printing and Processing Workshop
The final step of the image making process is arguably the most important and yet the least understood. The aim of these one day workshops is to ensure each participant will leave feeling confident to either print their own images at home, or have 100% confidence in the final files to be printed in a lab.
From a dedicated print studio in Somerset (near Templecombe) we will go over every element of printing and the processing involved to get the most out of the final print. Each participant will be able to make multiple prints and even some as large as A1 (24x36 inch) prints. We will go over in detail colour calibration, soft proofing, print sharpening, hard proofing and printing from Adobe Photoshop.
Each participant will be required to bring their own laptops and hard drives or memory cards with processed images as well as the raw files of the images to be printed.
There will be a maximum of four participants on each day to make sure we can keep a safe working distance. Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided as well as packaging to take your prints away with you. There is a train station within one mile of the studio so Antony will be happy to collect and return anyone interested in travelling this way to and from the station.
