Adrian Beasley
Adrian’s passion is landscape photography, coming from years of walking in the mountains of Snowdonia, but at heart Adrian is an engineer. The demand for logic and analysis fostered a soft spot for modern architecture, especially when shot in black & white. Adrian started photography seriously in 1995 working through the City & Guilds courses with much of his early work created in the darkroom. Adrian achieved success in national magazine competitions, often winning building and architecture rounds. Adrian moved to a digital workflow In 2000 when he sold all his darkroom equipment in exchange for Photoshop and a large format scanner and printer. In 2002 Adrian started teaching C&G photography courses and hosted intensive Photoshop and Lightroom courses for Light and Land.
After a very successful 2016 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, he decided to give up “the day-job” and focus on Photography full time. Adrian helps photographers achieve their vision through capture, development and printing. As an Adobe Certified Expert, deep knowledge of all things digital and an easy teaching style, he has helped hundreds of photographers reach their next level. Adrian is experienced in a wide range of photography techniques but especially enjoys combining Black & White imagery, developing and printing. For this reason, many of Adrian’s workshops and tours focusing in these areas.
