Cornwall’s Wild Photography Tour

29th October 2019

At the end of September, Phil and Clive returned to one of their favourite locations in the UK, Cornwall, to run their second tour based in this rugged and beautiful part of England.

Here, Lorraine Finney shares her experience and images from the tour...

"I was really looking forward to my trip to Cornwall with Clive and Phil as I knew it would be a good balance of photography and humour. We were based in Marizion over looking St Michaels Mount, staying at the Mount Haven Hotel.

On checking in to the hotel, I bumped into Julia who I had been to Morocco with. It was so lovely to catch up with her and I knew it would be a fun trip. It's like re-uniting with family when you travel with Light and Land, as you make good friends who share the same interests.

We visited various coastal locations which were very dramatic due to the high winds and waves. We were lucky with the weather as it forecast rain for most of the week, but fortunately for us it changed overnight and we were able to go out and capture some dramatic images. Both Phil and Clive were on hand to guide and assist if needed.

It was so lovely to meet new photographers on the course and see their work, each with their own style. We had such fun in the evenings sharing photographic experiences, singing national anthems, as the rugby was on the TV, and capturing special moments together.

I am looking forward to catching up with old and new friends on my next trip.  Thank you Clive and Phil for a fun filled photographic journey.

I hope you enjoy browsing a small selection of my photographs from the trip.  To see more of my work check out my website below".
