Light & Land
Abby Moule
Abby Moule, known as Astro Abby, is a UK-based landscape astrophotographer whose work explores the connection between land, light and the night sky — revealing the night as a place of beauty, depth and quiet wonder.
Working under some of the darkest skies in the UK and beyond, her images combine careful astronomical planning with a strong sense of composition, often placing familiar landscapes beneath the arc of the Milky Way. She thrives on the creative challenge that working at night brings and the pursuit of revealing beauty that so often goes unseen. Her work has been recognised in national competitions, including winning the Low Light category at the British Photography Awards, and she holds an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS).
Alongside her photographic practice, Abby is an experienced educator, delivering workshops, talks and tours designed to make astrophotography both accessible and inspiring. Her teaching focuses on simplifying complex techniques, helping participants build confidence in the field and develop a complete workflow from capture through to processing.
Known for her calm, supportive approach, Abby works closely with small groups to ensure that each participant can progress at their own pace. Whether guiding complete beginners or more experienced photographers, her aim is to help others not only improve technically, but to see the night differently — and to create images that reflect both place and experience.
