At the end of January 2018, in celebration of our 25th anniversary, we announced we would be holding a monthly photography competition.  All images taken on one of our tours or workshops and uploaded to our online gallery during the month would be entered.  May saw some stunning photography added to the Gallery Page, featuring images from our tours to Tuscany, Albania, Morocco and Bosham to name just a few!

The Light and Land team voted and then the top ten were judged by our founder and leader Charlie Waite, who spent time studying and judging each image before picking out the winning photograph and two runner up images.  

Congratualtions to Vanessa Parker whose photograph "Dark Sky and Poppies" was voted the winner.  This image was taken on our special tour of Tuscany to celebrate our 25th Anniversary led by Charlie Waite and Sue Bishop, "We were lucky to get this dramatic backdrop for the beautiful grasses and poppies".

Congratulations must also go to Rob Fairhead whose image "Albanian Sunrise" taken during our tour of Albania, led by Paul Sanders, showing the sun rise over Lake Ohrid.

And last but by no means least, congratulations to Gerald Hollingworth whose image "Bosham Infrared" is also in runner up position.  This photograph was taken at low tide during our Bosham tour led by Charlie Waite and Luke Whitaker.

We can't wait to see the images uploaded to the Gallery in June!  Remember all photographs uploaded must have been taken on a Light and Land tour, the winner will receive a Mindshift Filter Hive.
